This 2 story bungalow is Kara's residence and open to the public. The location is 1.5 miles from the Downtown District and atop West Main Hill in a quiet neighborhood.

So long as guests are ok with the layout of the house and the fact that the upstairs is host to other travelers, they are welcome here.

The Space
This 1 bedroom kottage is located on the main floor and offers lots of living space as well as a kitchen and outdoor space, including a screened in porch.

The second floor is dedicated to guests of the Douglas Fir Kottage and nicely separated from the first floor by a door, both are accessed through a kitchen.

This detail gives each space lots of privacy. The house is quite sound proof too. The kitchen is not shared and only used by guests who rent the main floor.

Guests do not share any of the interior spaces with the exception of access from the back door to the door leading upstairs.

2 cats live in this home and kept in the finished basement when guests are present.

Note: Housekeepers may need access to the upstairs and the basement should there be a turnover necessary during your stay.
