This newly renovated, Cape Cod home is located in Kalamazoo's beautiful Westnedge Hill Neighborhood , only 2 miles from the Downtown District

NOTE: This location is exclusively for guests looking for extended stays for 30 or more nights. Come and live like a local in this unique and well appointed space for a non commitment, month to month arrangement whereby all amenities are included. 

The Space
This one-of-a-kind Kottage is an artist's creation, inspired by the location itself and designed to optimize privacy and take full advantage of the views into surrounding woods. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, home is a first of its kind for KK, collaborating with local artists and friends, Ladislav & Jana Hanka, showcasing their work within Kara's signature style in this magically redesigned home. 

COVID-19 Friendly~This is a single family home, therefore guests will not encounter any other guests.

The Location & Property
This location is on one of the highest elevations in the city, looking out over the Kalamazoo river valley and boasting skyline views in the winter and enfolding greenery through the summer. This secluded property surrounded by two acres of mature forest hosts significant migratory bird populations in season and resident wildlife year-round. Guests will appreciate this quiet gem, landscaped with various native fruits in season - waking up to birdsong and wildlife who roam the property.  

Due to COVID-19, we are taking extra measures and making alterations to make each space as safe as possible for our guests. Here are few concessions to date:

We are, temporarily suspending many food offerings with the exception of Condiments, Coffee, Teas, Single Serving Coffee Creamer, Sweeteners, Pancake and Waffle Mix, Maple Syrup, Oatmeal Packets and Pantry Staples for cooking. No Mini-Bar.

We are using disinfectant cleaning products as well and wiping down frequently touched items such as door handles and knobs, light switches, key pads, remotes, etc. and using bleach in laundering.

Also, depending on how COVID-19 plays out, we may propose to move an existing reservation to accommodate the needs of our extended stay guests. If this happens (and we have a very large inventory to choose from), we will reach out to those guests to propose a move that is a good fit for their group/occasion.

Safe, well lit and free parking is available in a parking lot on the property. Off street parking is available, but not overnight.
