OUR LOCATION

OUR LOCATION

What a find! Thank goodness all of the chain hotels were booked up and we were forced to think out-of-the-box. My only regret is that we didn't know of this place sooner and this is our last trip to the area. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Driftwood Kottage. It was SO cozy and beautifully decorated. No detail is spared. Honestly, we will be sad to leave. Kara makes the stay so homey: the fridge is loaded for breakfast, tons of supplies, and just a welcome, high-end, help-yourself feel to everything. Even the outside space is lovely: nice landscaping inside a private patio with a grill and relaxing furniture. And all of this cost quite a bit less than the two rooms we would have booked at a sterile, cookie-cutter chain.

I don't normally write reviews, but I had such a great experience I feel compelled. Not only was the unit I stayed in laid out beautifully, Kara was very helpful, kind and gracious. I could see myself living where I had the pleasure of staying for a night. Will be back, and highly recommend.

This place was fantastic. So much so that I don't ever want to stay anywhere else in Kalamazoo. Super clean, plenty of amenities, close to everything and water pressure to die for. :)

I’ll hate every hotel after staying here. This place has the cool factor you wish you had in your own house. The bed is the best example of what down should feel like, to the point that you just want to lay around all day with the pillows and comforters mushed around you. The location on Cedar Street was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops and Kara was always available via phone or text, even for a coffee emergency

Kara does a fabulous job of setting the stage for a restful beautiful stay. Every detail is thought of from Breakfast fixings to available beverages. It is such a treat staying at her Kottages. I have stayed there twice in the past month. Every unit is spotless, unique, and beautifully decorated. I felt like I was welcomed and at home. Loved it! The combined best aspects of a 5-star boutique hotel and a great well-appointed vacation home. I look forward to staying there again.
